Pillars of Friendship Incorporated; a 501(c) 3 non-profit entity with the expressed purpose of developing a legacy of financial support for matriculating students of the University of Southern Mississippi. Our foundation motto is “Giving Back, Building Together”.

Nu Eta Fit Club
​
To celebrate our 50th anniversary, the NH Fit Club was formed to emphasize the importance of
physical health. In the months leading up to the 50th, NH brothers from all over the country met
to fellowship and push each other to meet physical fitness goals. We are proud of the
dedication, discipline, and commitment shown to commence 50 years of fellowship as we strive
to live better, healthier lives.
NH Alumni Bridge Builder Initiative

The NH Alumni Bridge Builder initiative is focused on creating connections, fostering
collaboration, and building a better future for graduates of the University of Southern
Mississippi. The Bridge Builder program provides both in person and virtual seminars to create
awareness around financial literacy and health awareness. The goal of this initiative is to
improve life trajectories by providing social, emotional, and educational support for alumni
members.

Networking opportunities available across the following industries: Military, Finance, Education,
IT, Healthcare, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Construction, Marketing, Law
Enforcement, and a vast amount of Professional Services

Programs
Perseverance Scholarship
​​
Through our 501(c)(3) organization, Pillars of Friendship, Incorporated is committed to making a substantial contribution to the USM Foundation, with the aim of surpassing the $250,000 mark. Established in 2013, the Perseverance Scholarship has awarded financial assistance to numerous high-achieving Southern Miss Juniors and Seniors, based on the cardinal principles of our fraternity: Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift.
​Nu Eta Chapter Alumni Gala

The Nu Eta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. at the University of Southern Mississippi is proud to celebrate our 50th Chapter Anniversary during Memorial Weekend 2025 in Hattiesburg, MS — the place where it all began in 1975. Over 200 chapter members will come together to honor our legacy and celebrate the significant contributions we’ve made to both the university and the local community.
